How to Come Out of Quarantine with the Perfect Butt

Times are super strange right now. Both an amazing and challenging thing is: many of you have unprecedented control over your daily routine. Some may be thriving during this pandemic, keeping their booty energized; others, well, might just be sitting on it. Either way (and no judgment from us), BAWDY has an easy and effective self-care routine to help you come out of this quarantine with the perfect butt.

Here, we’ve broken down five simple things you can do by way of nutrition, physical activity, and a skin care routine to perfect your booty beauty in just two weeks.

1. Vitamin C to Your Health

You guys, we’re in the middle of a pandemic so, of course, a healthy immune system is something we should all be paying attention to. Vitamin C is a really easy, tasty, and effective way to help with that. Coincidentally, vitamin C helps boost collagen production, is a natural antioxidant, and repairs red blood cells as well. Each of these characteristics can help reduce cellulite, stave off wrinkles, and even out skin tone. Try adding oranges, grapefruit, strawberries, broccoli, or red and green sweet peppers to your daily diet and, boom! you’ve done two great things for your body with one yummy treat.

2. Get That Bawdy Movin’

Numerous experts agree there are two categories of exercise that lift and tone tushies the best; squats and lunges. After you’ve grabbed your daily dose of vitamin C, set aside at least 10 minutes for a booty boosting workout -- and who doesn’t love a plump posterior? Each day, choose at least three of the following exercises to tackle. Depending upon your fitness level and time you have available, feel free to work through all six. You’ll want to do 15 reps of each exercise, completing a total of four sets.

Squat variations:

    • Basic squat
    • Jump squat
    • Sumo squat
Lunge variations:
    • Curtsy lunge
    • Split lunge
    • Lateral lunge

3. Be a Wash Up

This one is simple; wash your butt! Particularly now, it’s easy to sit around all day in your pajamas or favorite sweats. You might even find yourselves lingering in your leggings after a booty busting workout -- don’t do it! The first step to effective natural skin care at home is simply washing up, so don’t underestimate the power of a shower.

    4. Exfoliate

Even after you’ve washed away the day’s sweat and grime, dead skin cells may remain which can cause bumpy, irritated, and uneven skin. And while a booty scrub might seem like a logical step to rid your derriere of these nasty remnants, harsh exfoliants like scrubs can actually do more harm than good. An exfoliating butt mask using clean, gentle ingredients is the more effective way to go. Bawdy offers an array of butt masks that, in addition to being exfoliating, also hydrate, firm, detoxify, and illuminate through the use of clean ingredients like grape seed oil, aloe, and orange peel.

    5. Moisturize to the Occasion

All good skin care routines culminate in moisturizing elements and the butt facial we’ve outlined here is no exception. Our backsides might not see the sun as much as our faces do but that doesn’t mean our booties don’t go through a moisture-sucking gauntlet throughout the day. To help protect against sweat, friction, and tight clothes, a well-moisturized layer of skin is key.  And, after all the work we’ve put in with healthful nutrition, physical activity, washing, and exfoliating, consider our new hydrating and firming Butt Stick Duo the rejuvenating icing on the perfect butt cake.

The CBD Butt Balm and Clay Butt Mask work in tandem to give your bum the rejuvenating boost it needs. Made with clean ingredients like green tea and willow bark extract, the Clay Butt Mask detoxifies and firms while the CBD Butt Balm soothes and plumps through a combination of CBD, Mediterranean algae, and hyaluronic acid. Name a better duo!
